For one thing, it will be difficult to put them on the bus from another location, so having a brick and mortar business facilitates the need for either daycare or a babysitter if you children are young. With a home business, you may be able to avoid childcare expenses if your children are old enough to understand that you are working and can not be disturbed.

This is especially true if they are all in school since you can probably do most of your work during those hours. You also do not have to worry about losing time from work when they are ill or daycare is closed. You just need to rearrange your work schedule. Some types of home businesses may allow you to work when your children are there but if you meet clients, home or away, you should arrange to have your children placed in daycare or with a babysitter.
